| bpi.films has unveiled an exciting new stretchwrap product that will make pallet wrapping easier and more cost-effective as well as more environmentally friendly. This innovative new hand roll product, known as Wrapsmartultra, offers the same strength and high performance levels of standard stretch film products despite its ultra light weight and thinner gauge.
Wrapsmartultra is a pre-stretched hand film manufactured to a 7 micron gauge. As such users can achieve the same levels of wrapping and in turn, load stability and product protection as they would with a traditional 17 micron film, but can do so using less film by weight for a given load which means there is less film to dispose of when the load is finally unpacked. Furthermore, Wrapsmartultra benefits from being 100% recyclable and can be processed through standard industrial recycling facilities.
Thanks to its reduced profile, users actually get more film per roll with Wrapsmartultra. Not only does this mean that they get more for their money it also ensures that fewer film deliveries are required and this contributes to a reduction in associated vehicle emissions.
Being pre-stretched Wrapsmartultra is quicker and easier to apply. Operators need to exert less effort and tension to securely wrap a pallet and this also means there is a reduced risk of injury or strain.
In addition to its environmental credentials Wrapsmartultra is extremely versatile, capable of securely wrapping a wide variety of goods.
