New bpi.films' product reigns supreme

Opportunities for damage to palletised products can now be reduced following the launch of Supreme RMA a new machine stretch film from BPI.

A new addition to the Supreme product range, this advanced stretch film has been developed to the highest standards at bpi.film’s Bridgewater facility. Supreme RMA boasts excellent cling on the inside of the film and a ‘clean’ slip on the outside. As a result, this innovative film provides superb wrapping capabilities whilst ensuring pallets do not stick together and so can be removed from stacks efficiently. Both of these enhanced benefits reduce the risk of damage to the wrap and the palletised product.

As with all bpi.films’ stretch film products Supreme RMA has the impressive strength and puncture resistance that the BPI range is renowned for and which protect items in transit ultimately protecting profits.

Bob Barr, European Sales Director at bpi.films said: “bpi.films is committed to a continuous programme of research and development to ensure that we can offer our customers the very latest in stretch film technology. We realised that products were at risk of damage through the friction created between pallets closely packed together so we decided to look into refining our already popular Supreme RM film. The new generation Supreme RMA offers high cling on the inside of the film to ensure good wrapping properties but high slip on the outside of the film.

The response we have received through field trials has been exceptional and we look forward to advising the market of other new product developments in the near future.”

Being a cast film, the Supreme RMA offers outstanding clarity, can be stretched up to 250 percent and is suitable for use on both pre-stretch and power pre-stretch machines.
